Privacy Policy

This policy applies to Rachelle's Cleaning Services (“we,” “us,” “our”), a residential house-cleaning company operating as Rachelle's Cleaning Service, and to our website at rachellescleaningservice.com.

When you request a quote through our website, by phone, or through an ad, you may give us:

• Your name, phone number, and email address
• Your city and ZIP code, and later your service address if you book
• Details about your home: the type of clean you want, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, approximate square footage, condition, and how often you would like service
• How you prefer to be contacted, and anything you write in the notes field

If you become a client, we also keep scheduling and service history, the amount charged per visit, and any access instructions you choose to give us, such as a gate code or where a key is kept.

We do not collect payment card numbers on our website. Payment is arranged separately.

Our quote form includes a hidden field that real people never see. It exists only to catch automated spam, and anything submitted through it is discarded.

Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site or ad that referred you. We use three third-party tools that collect this kind of information:

• Google Analytics, which reports aggregate traffic and which pages perform well.
• Microsoft Clarity, which produces heatmaps and can record a playback of your session on the site, including mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks. It is configured to mask text you type into form fields.
• The Meta pixel, which tells us whether visitors arrived from our Facebook or Instagram ads and whether they went on to request a quote, and allows Meta to show our ads to people who have visited the site.

These tools set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on. Blocking them will not affect your ability to use the site or request a quote.

We use what we collect to:

• Prepare and send your quote, and answer your questions
• Schedule, perform, and follow up on cleaning visits
• Send service-related messages such as confirmations, reminders, and the occasional request for feedback or a review
• Keep records for accounting, insurance, and legal purposes
• Understand which pages and ads bring us customers, so we spend our advertising budget sensibly
• Detect and prevent spam, fraud, and misuse of the site

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own independent marketing.

If you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your quote and your service. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by telling us on a call. We do not send marketing texts to people who have not asked us for a quote.

Our emails about your quote and your scheduled visits are service messages. Any email that is promotional in nature includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from that mailing permanently. Unsubscribing does not stop messages that are necessary to deliver a service you have booked.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only for that purpose. These include:

• Our website host and our lead database, which are operated on servers located in the United States
• Email and messaging providers used to deliver your quote and service notifications
• Analytics and advertising providers described above, being Google, Microsoft, and Meta
• If you submit an ad enquiry on Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes that enquiry to us, and their own privacy policy applies to what happens on their platform

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, if we need to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, our team, or the public. If our business is ever sold or merged, client records may transfer as part of that transaction.

Every cleaner on our team is background-checked and bound to keep what they see in your home confidential.

Quote requests that do not become bookings are kept for up to two years so we can follow up and understand our own marketing. Client records, including service history and invoices, are kept for at least four years to meet tax, insurance, and legal requirements. Home access details such as gate codes are deleted promptly when you stop using our service, or sooner on request.

You may ask us at any time to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you and where it came from
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your information, except where we are required to keep it
• Stop contacting you, or limit how we contact you

To make a request, email hello@rachellescleaningservice.com or call (949) 402-7425. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before we act, and we will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

California residents have these rights under state privacy law. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we do not knowingly process the personal information of anyone under 16.

Some browsers offer a Do Not Track signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to it, so our site does not respond to Do Not Track signals at this time.

Our website is served over an encrypted connection, and the database that holds quote requests and client records is protected by access controls and is not publicly reachable. Access is limited to the owner and to staff who need it to do their job.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as financial account numbers through our website forms.

Our services and website are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted clearly on the page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
